Travel to Jordan
COVID-19 PCR testing
All passengers must present a negative certificate for a COVID?19 PCR test conducted within 72 hours prior to the departure time from the first embarkation point. A certificate from any government approved lab will be acceptable.
Passengers will undergo a second COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival. The cost of the test (JOD 28) must be . After registration and successful payment, you will receive a QR code that must be presented at check-in to be accepted for your flight. The QR code must also be presented to the authorities upon arrival for verification.
Passengers who do not hold proof of EMD payment will be charged on arrival.
Passengers arriving from Egypt are required to provide COVID-19 PCR test only from the below listed approved labs:
- The Central Laboratories
- Al Borg Laboratories
- Al Mokhtabar Laboratories
All arriving passengers must complete the below:
Passengers must have the health declaration form filled and presented for verification.
COVID-19 PCR test certificate and health forms must be presented at check in for verification.
Children below 5 years old are not required to take a COVID-19 PCR test before departure or on arrival.
Passengers coming to Amman for medical treatment can be accepted without a QR code if they carry an official letter of approval issued by the Private Hospital Association - Jordan.
Fully vaccinated Jordanian passengers residing in Jordan are not required to take a COVID-19 PCR test before travel if 14 days have passed since their last dose, and provided that the period between their departure and return to Jordan is not more than 10 days.
Diplomats and employees of regional and international organizations as well as their dependents and family members holding special and/ or normal passports who are residing in Jordan are exempted from the following:
- COVID-19 PCR test before departure
- COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival
Requirements for vaccinated passengers
The following requirements apply for passengers who have completed a full course of vaccination issued from the following countries: Australia, Bahrain, Canada, China, the EU, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, United Kingdom or USA
- A negative COVID-19 PCR test result for a test conducted within 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure to Jordan from the first departure airport. COVID-19 PCR testing is not required upon arrival.
- A medical certificate proving that the full course of vaccination has been completed to be presented in print or electronic copy at check-in.
- Passengers must register on the platform VISIT JORDAN to get a QR code.
- Passengers must also submit passenger health declaration and locator forms available on the at the check-in counter before departure.
Passengers travelling out of Jordan can use their PCR test certificate to travel back to Jordan provided that PCR test is conducted within 120 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time to Jordan.
Transfer passengers from outstations across the network can now be accepted through Dubai. The same restrictions apply to all passengers whether originating from Dubai or any other Emirates destination.
International transfer passengers are allowed at Jordanian airports following below criteria:
- Negative COVID-19 PCR test is required within 72 hours prior to departure to Jordan
- The planned transfer time should not exceed 10 hours
Travel from Jordan
Passengers travelling outside of Jordan can present their negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate for their return provided that the test is conducted within 120 hours before their scheduled arrival.
