The visa does not automatically impose Croatian income tax on foreign earnings. However, if you stay longer than 183 days within any 12-month period you risk becoming a tax resident and may owe tax on worldwide income at 20–30% plus surtax. Always consult a qualified tax advisor before and during your stay.
Yes. Family members may apply for accompanying temporary residence permits. You must prove sufficient additional funds (roughly 50% more per adult, 30% per child) and provide insurance for each family member.
No. The maximum authorized stay is one year and the permit cannot be extended. After expiry you must leave Croatia; reapplication is possible after spending time outside the country, usually 3–6 months.
