💳 Tourist (TR visa), Tourist Visa of Thailand
Tourist (TR) Visa for Thailand is a type of visa that allows foreign nationals to visit Thailand for tourism and leisure purposes.
The visa can only be issued outside of Thailand..
Here are some key points about the Tourist Visa of Thailand:
- Purpose: The primary purpose of the TR visa is for tourism and short-term leisure activities. It does not permit the visa holder to engage in any form of employment or business activities while in Thailand.
- Duration: The TR visa typically allows for a stay of up to 60 days. If you wish to extend your stay beyond the initial 60-day period, you can visit a local immigration office in Thailand and apply for an extension on 30 days.
- Validity: The validity of the TR visa varies depending on the country of application and other factors. It may range from a few months to a year or more.
- Requirements: Documents include a valid passport, a completed visa application form, passport-sized photos, proof of sufficient funds for your stay, a confirmed accomodation and a confirmed round-trip ticket.

✅ Exceptional service, very concise and prompt with providing you all the information you will need to make an informed decision in reference to you or the business the firm handles on your behalf. Consummate professionals when you need that and more.
❌ Also what constitutes proof of finance? I've never had to provide this in the past. I have a credit card with 20,000CAD available credit. I don't really like the idea of sharing my bank account info.

✅ I not only recommend Rex, but I guarantee once you have used his service you too will look no further. He responded immediately to my enquiry about a problem with my COE, he is a very knowledge and trustworthy person
❌ This is unfortunate. I'm in the exact same situation as the OP and for my last trip my return date was exactly 90 days out and I had no problem getting visa/Coe. I emailed the Thai Embassy in Ottawa with this exact same question a week ago and I haven't heard back.

✅ That's what I expected, thanks for the helpful information
❌ I am getting conflicting opinions on date of the return flight as on other posts people have said returns 90 days after outbound travel is accepted.

✅ A bank statement Craig (I think thats what it says) I had a look at the Tourist Visa requirements a couple of weeks ago, & found its no longer just a case of sending your passport & payment off anymore, as it was when I last did it in 2013. Since then, I've just used the visa exemption process, but wanted a longer stay in 2022
