LTR is Long-Term Resident Visa. Requirements for the applicant:
- Personal income of at least USD 80,000/year at the time of application
- In case of personal income below USD 80,000/year but no less than USD 40,000/year, applicants must invest at least USD 250,000 in Thai government bonds, foreign direct investment, or Thai property
- Health insurance with at least USD 50,000 coverage or social security benefits insuring treatment in Thailand or at least USD 100,000 deposit

✔ Checklist of required documents for Thailand Retirement Visa
- Copy of valid passport (first page and all pages with Thai visa stamp)
- Photograph 3x4 cm
- Health insurance policy covering entire course of stay in Thailand, with coverage for hospitalization treatment of no less than 50,000 OR
- Evidence showing valid social security benefits which insures hospitalization and treatment in Thailand OR
- Financial evidence showing a deposit of no less than 100,000 USD in a bank account which has been held for no less than 12 months at the time of app
- Copy of Thai Government Bond in applicant’s name (optional)
- Shareholder list with applicant’s name as a shareholder (not more than 3 months old)(optional)
- Securities Business License from The Securities and Exchange Commission In case of investing in Venture Company (optional)
- Copy of the sale and purchase agreement of the condominium unit made by the Applicant and the project owner/company (optional)
- Evidence showing the incomes in current year e.g. pension
