Travel to Algeria

There are restrictions for passengers travelling to Algeria. Travel to Algeria is currently limited to direct flights from the following countries: France, Italy, Tunisia, Spain, Turkey and Germany.

Transfer/transit through Tunis is only permitted for passengers who can present a confirmed onward ticket.

COVID-19 testing requirements

All passengers must present a negative COVID-19 RT PCR test certificate before departure under the following conditions:

  • For passengers on direct flights to Algiers, testing must be carried out 36 hours before departure.
  • For passengers transiting/transferring through Algiers, testing must be carried out 72 hours before departure.

The medical certificate must be in Arabic, French or English.

Passengers must undergo COVID-19 Antigen testing on arrival in Algeria. The fees for the test have to be borne by the passenger.

Passengers below 12 years old are exempted from COVID-19 testing.

Passengers are required to complete a medical form.
