LTR is Long-Term Resident Visa. Requirements for the applicant:

  • Personal income of a minimum of USD 80,000 / year in the past two years
  • In case of personal income below USD 80,000/year but no less than USD 40,000/year in the past two years
  • Applicants must have a Master’s degree or above or own intellectual property or receive Series A funding
  • Public company on a stock exchange or; Private company in operation for at least three years with combined revenue at least USD 150 million in the last three years
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the relevant fields of the current employment over the past 10 years
  • Health insurance with at least USD 50,000 coverage or social security benefits insuring treatment in Thailand or at least USD 100,000 deposit

✔ Checklist of required documents for Thailand Digital Nomad Visa

  • Personal data page and all pages with Thai visa stamps. Valid for at least 6 months from the date of visa issuance. At least 2 blank pages
  • Photograph 3x4 cm
  • Health insurance policy covering entire course of stay in Thailand, with coverage for hospitalization treatment of no less than 50,000 USD and with the remaining maturity of at least 10 months OR
  • Evidence showing valid social security benefits which insures hospitalization and treatment in Thailand OR
  • Financial evidence showing a deposit of no less than 100,000 USD in a bank account which has been held for no less than 12 months at the time of application
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Evidence of previous employment in the related field no less than 5 years in the past 10 years as of the submission date (e.g. copy of letter issued by previous company/employer)
  • Evidence of qualification (e.g. copy of university certificate) OR
  • Evidence of achievement (e.g. research projects/ publications / intellectual property / awards/ certificate of professional qualification/ certification of related area of expertise) OR
  • Master’s degree in Science and Technology (in case of experts working in a corporate with income in the range of 40,000 – 80,000 USD)
  • Copy of certificate of employment or equivalent, signed by an authorized person of a company in Thailand, a private higher education institution, research institution, specialized training institution, indicating the position in the company, monthly or yearly salary, employment period
  • Company profile or company annual report
  • Evidence of income tax payment or annual personal income tax return showing income of no less than 80,000 or 40,000 USD per year in the past 2 years
  • Financial evidence showing an income in current year e.g. bank statement
