The Digital Nomad Visa in Norway is a special permit granted to remote workers who wish to live and work in the country for up to two years. This program was introduced to attract foreign entrepreneurs wishing to relocate to Norway.

Unlike some digital nomad visas that restrict economic activities such as employment, the digital nomad visa in Norway requires at least one Norwegian client. This makes it more flexible for those seeking employment in the country.

Keep in mind that with this visa, you will have to pay local taxes if you will be residing in Norway for more than 6 months and get a VAT number.

You can apply for this visa at the Norwegian embassy or consulate in your country or in the country where you are currently residing. If you are already in Norway legally, you can apply at the nearest police station.

After submitting your application and documents, you may receive a response in about four months, although the processing time may vary depending on your country of origin.
