π³ @HOME in Curaçao, Digital Nomad Visa of Curaçao - Requirements andΒ Process
@HOME in Curaçao is a program accommodating travelers, remote workers, extended-stay visitors, and investors looking for a temporary home away from home.
The @HOME program is eligible for three target groups (all nationalities can apply).
- Remote workers/digital nomads
- Hibernators/snowbirds
- Investors
Digital nomads - remote workers and are not fixed to any particular location (they live where they work and change destination). The @HOME in Curaçao programs accepts applications for both remote workers and digitals nomads. To be eligible, you must prove that you can work location-independently using telecommunications technologies. In addition, you will need to prove that you fit under any one of the three following categories:
- You work for an employer registered in a foreign country and you have a contract with that employer;
- You conduct business activity for a company that is registered in a foreign country and of which you are a partner/shareholder;
- You offer freelance or consulting services to clients, whose permanent establishments are in a foreign country, and with whom you have contracts.
Hibernators - a person, often self-employed, who searches a warm geographic climate to work.
Snowbirds - is a person who migrates from colder regions such as North America or Europe to warmer southern locales, typically during the winter season. Snowbirds are usually retirees wishing to avoid the snow and cold winter climates but return to their country of origin to reunite with friends and family. If the person owns a property on the island, he/she can also apply for this category.
Investors - you will have to meet the following requirements:
- Present official documents that you have made or intend to make a business investment of at least ANG 500.000/
- Have sufficient financial resources at your disposal to meet the obligations arising from the investment.
- A private health insurance policy (once you get approval on your application, you must get a local private health insurance).
Applications must be submitted when staying/living abroad.
The application will take about 2 weeks to process.
