⚠ Unfortunately, Namibia does not yet offer digital nomad visas. If you want to stay in Namibia longer, consider the following options:

Applicants will be required to prove that they earn enough money to be self-suff icient during their stay in the country. They will need to demonstrate this by providing proof of income and funds such as a pay slip or employment contract. An applicant for the programme must prove a monthly average income of USD2000 for their cost of living. Proof of an additional average income of USD1000 per month for an accompanying spouse and USD500 per month for every accompanying child is required for those travelling with dependents.

The Namibia Digital Nomad Visa will be issued for six months.

  • Application form
  • Passport
  • Health Insurance
  • Radiological Report (31/0004)
  • Certified Copy of passport and /or legal status if in Namibia
  • Motivation letter from NIPDB (Letter to be submitted directly by NIPDB to MHAISS with application forms and supporting documents)
  • Proof of Income/funds (Payslip/Employment Contract) to sustain yourself and dependants (USD 2000 - Applicant, USD 1000 - Accompany Spouse, USD 500 - per accompanying child per month)
  • 6 Month Bank Statement
  • Applicable fees: N$1 100 Required upon approval
  • Motivation letter from Employer
  • Copies of qualifications
  • Original Police Clearance from Country of Origin (translated into English)
